Google Pixel 7a Leaked Renders Design, Specifications, Camera & Price in India

Google Pixel 7a has been making headlines for a couple of months now as a few leaks revealed the features and specifications of the development. While the search engine giants have managed to keep the Pixel 7a under wraps so far, we at InfoAddict collaborated with On Leaks to share the very first glimpse of Google Pixel 7a.

Google Pixel 7a Design

These exclusive Pixel 7a images reveal how the design isn’t far from the existing Google Pixel 6a. As we can see in the renders, the Google Pixel 7a shows that the device will have a rectangular strip-style camera island at the upper side of the rear panel. The device’s dimensions are 152.4 x 72.9 x 9.0mm(10.1mm with the camera bump). In comparison, the Pixel 6a, was 152.2 x 71.8 x 8.9 mm. As compared to its predecessor, the screen and dimension difference is not something very noticeable.

We can spot the Google logo in the middle of the rear panel. In the camera island, the two sensors can be seen in an oval-shaped area with the flash placed at a slight distance.

Talking about the front panel, the device will have thick bezels all around and an extra thicker chin. For the placement of the front camera, the device will have a punch-hole cutout located at the top-middle of the display. The power button and the volume rocker are located at the right spine of the handset, and the SIM tray can be seen on the left spine.

The USB type-C port of the smartphone is located at the bottom side, along with the speaker grille. Previous rumors suggested that the device would come with a 3.5mm jack. However, we were unable to find one in the renders, which means the rumors can be bogus to an extent. From what we can see initially, the handset will be available in two color options – White and Dark Grey. On a conclusive note, we can say that the design of the device seems quite identical to other phones from the Google Pixel 7 series.

Google Pixel 7a Camera Specification

Google Pixel 7a Camera

9 to 5 Google recently confirmed some of the rumors we heard earlier this summer regarding the Pixel 7a’s camera. The sensor on the 50MP camera is the same Samsung GN1 found on the Pixel 6 and Pixel 6 Pro. A Sony IMX787 64MP sensor for telephoto and a Sony IMX712 for ultrawide (duplicated in the front for selfies) round out the Pixel 7a’s camera arrangement. If true, this means the 7a would have nearly identical camera quality to the Pixel 6, which is still exceptionally good in 2022.

This would also mark a shift from the Pixel 6a, which used hardware dating back to the Pixel 3. It’s common for Google to rely on older sensors, letting that post-processing magic do much of the work, but considering the Pixel 6 represents a step above previous generations in our camera tests, we’re excited to see where this goes.
